This one is dedicated to Halloween. Truth be told, I've been stressin'. The kids are still little enough that I want them to be "matchy matchy" (stop rolling your eyes) but I'm waiting for Miss C to make up her mind. I guess I should just trump her opinion and do what I want (which is Little Bo Peep and her Sheep.....hee hee), but I know it's going to be a huge battle come October 31. Miss C won't even look at that page in the costume catalog. Anything remotely princess, pretty or frilly you can just forget it. She can't turn that page fast enough.
So I keep asking her what she wants to be. Usually I get Lightening McQueen (and she informs me that Little J can be the Porche--which is Sally). But when she flips through the catalogs, she wants to either be the pink Carebear or the red Teletubby. She told me that Little J can be the blue Carebear or the yellow Teletubby. Funny.
So, here's the flashback part. The Halloween's of yester-year.....
This is Miss C's first Halloween. She was 11 months old. One of her first words was kitty....so we thought this was fitting
Isn't that just too stinkin' cute?! Right now she is sitting on my lap and is telling me she wants to be a kitty cat for Halloween this year. Ugh! See my pain?!
And here is Halloween last year. It was Little J's first and he was about 5 1/2 months old. They were Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Miss C loves the Mickey Mouse cartoon. It's really the only one she watches.....
And here she is in the full get-up. Don't you love the shoes?! She found them in her closet about a month ago and put them on. They still fit (barely). She insisted on wearing them out on errands recently.....super cute :)
And here is one of Little J last year. My grandmother knitted that sweater and booties. Miss C came home from the hospital in that sweater (it was huge on her). Both of my kids have worn it and now it's retired in a memory box....
