So this was originally written on 2/25. It's not 3/9 and I'm finally downloading the pictures off my camera that relate to this story. How sad is that! I haven't picked up the camera in almost 2 weeks (let alone take a single picture of the two of them in that long) and I'm getting the shakes. It's been a little busy around here with some heavy spring cleaning, so pictures have taken a backseat. Anyway, here's the gem from a couple of weeks ago:
So I head up there and see Little J with a piece of paper, a pen, and a piece of tape that he had swiped from her. He was running into his room. As I'm passing by her room, I see this:

"No brutrs ulawd in my rom!" (No brothers allowed in my room!). And then a second statement saying the same thing (you just have to read upwards) for good measure. She's all about exclamation points right now. When we read, she insists you have to shout the word right before the exclamation point. And I love the picture of the little boy frowning. Way to drive home the point.
Then I go into Little J's room and he is furiously writing this:

In case you don't read 3 year old, it very clearly says, "No girls allowed in my room."
After he was done writing it, he took the tape and hung it up on his door.
So this morning when Miss C got up, I asked her if she was going to fight with her brother today like she did yesterday. I told her I hoped that it would be better today because yesterday was a little too much to handle for this mama. She looked at me and told me that he wasn't allowed to have any of her paper (and implying that as long as he didn't take her paper, they would be fine). I told her that it's nice to share and how would she feel if he had something that she wanted and he wouldn't share with her. To which she replied:
"Well, he doesn't have very exciting stuff. So I don't need it."
Touche! (and yes, I shouted that one)
